Intersections portrays desire, acquisition and overconsumption entwined in sublime landscape. Humanity and nature as fated love expiring, as a future memory of current longing in dissolution. Exploring California and the West using 4×5 and 35 millimeter film cameras, these images were printed using either Van Dyke emulsion or Iris printing, four feet across. I wrote poems for each, inking text onto the surface under glazes of acrylics and oils.
