CURATORIAL PROJECTS

Discover the work of over forty Bay Area artists in the curatorial projects below. The exhibitions explore themes such as beauty, memory, muse, technology, nature, women’s rights, diversity and diaspora. These community projects were executed as an independent curator and during a twenty year tenure at the SFMOMA Artists Gallery (an arm of SFMOMA dedicated to the support of local arts through art exhibitions, sales and rentals.) Embracing collaboration and aiming to uplift artist voices, Michelle has produced beneficial art experiences for hundreds of Bay Area artists, colleagues, institutions, business partners and art appreciators.
